It offers spotless and freshly decorated rooms with coffee, lovely comfortable bed, as for instance. Plus, the location is great, minutes from River Tweed. The staff is very very helpful and pleasant as well as hotel's host.

Particularly good and unbeatable location in Berwick Upon Tweed, really close to the beach and local chip shop, and Centre of Town.

The Cowrie was a great find! Ruth and Ian were super cute. The breakfast was great with daily specials. My room felt cozy, and I appreciated the fresh milk for tea. Just know parking can be a bit of a puzzle, but overall, a lovely stay!

Our room was too cold at times, and even with a request for housekeeping, the staff overlooked our room. The dining area had limited tables which forced us to pre-schedule our breakfast time, disrupting our plans. These issues significantly detracted from the experience we hoped for.

Honestly, the brekkie was out of this world, and the fresh homemade jams were a nice touch 🤤. Beds were so lekker comfy, I could've slept all day! Ian and Ruth was like old chommies.

Only thing? The buzz from the street could be a bit much at times, but it didn't ruin the vibe.

Just wrapped up 2 nights with Ian and Ruth. The king bed in our room was super comfy, and the ensuite shower was just what we needed. They even had packed lunches available, which we took advantage of. Only bummer? Parking was a bit of a hassle nearby.

I enjoyed the chance to relax in the garden area and appreciated the freshly cooked breakfast each morning. Only downside? I wished I could've stayed longer than two nights, so book a few extra days if you can! 😊
